Here, where the rain pours down hard, the past lifts with the fog, The bright dark angel, devoid of heart comes to devour mine, Now tightens the hand of death around my life... I never broke my promise nor retrieved my heart, Reaching out to heaven while living in hell, Growing low on comfort while my torment swells...
